Thank you for your review! Y'all are so sweet and really appreciate the work Beyoncé put on Beychella.
very thoughtful review, I really enjoyed the film as well
The voice you heard was Maya Angelo not Nina Simon
Beyoncé converting casual fans into people who have a real respect of her work ethic, drive and talent is always a pleasure to see.
People can very quick to call her overrated or under-talented, but the work speaks for itself. She’s truly one of the greatest to ever do it. Not only mega talented, but sooo hard working. She doesn’t have to her finger in everything but she does because she wants to give the best she can, which in today’s musical/entertainment climate, is very rare.
She’s one of the last of her kind, titan performers. And even better, she looks beyond herself. It’s amazing to see her develop her own legacy by working outwards. She works for culture, for pride, for inclusivity and empowerment. Her impact is immense and it’s so captivating to watch her raise her own bar and write her own rules, not just in the music business, but media period.
I enjoyed watching this, it was lovely to hear your thoughts. Keep it up!
PS: it was Nina Simone
Beyonce is such a inspiration
