  1. He's badasssss!! I know him thru a former boss from Austin who usta take care of him. He's the real deal live..Met him in Milwaukee, just a phenomenal cat. Humbled beyond. ✌ ✌

  2. Interesting. I’ve never heard of this artist, but his music style reminds me of prince’s , except that his it’s a little bit more hardcore and bluesy. Very unique style he’s got. Thanks for sharing! I give this a thumbs up.😄👍

  3. I've been a big fan of Gary Clark Jr. for a while already. I'm a white man who strives to be the best version of me all the time… but even I think that "This Land" is the best song that's come out this year. And… I don't believe that will change no matter what else comes out this year… It's THAT good.
For me, when listening to the album as a whole, I do enjoy the journey as you mentioned, but I don't notice the punk feel anywhere besides maybe the title track. Some jazz aspects that I really dig on "Feed The Babies" and "Pearl Cadillac" really sounds like a Prince song. Perhaps it's because I've been a fan of his for a couple albums already… I hear the southern blues rock which is what I already loved and expected. He doesn't disappoint…I love the album and your review. To be honest… I expected this review as the artist's work truly is sheer greatness. Rock on, Friend.

  4. Thanks. I'll listen to that. It's in my mind since This Land single is out. What about Raise Vibration by Lenny ? Good album too 🙂
And about reggae mixed with rock, check the Bad Brains 😉
