A departure from our “sporty” vehicle reviews, this week we experience the massively popular and equally tough 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser. This vehicle is in the infant stages of its overland rig build transformation (of course there will be a series for this). With prices of these machines dropping to very attainable levels, is the 100 Series Land Cruiser a good buy to transform into an overlanding rig, or is it an overrated aging SUV?
