Description (From Steam):
The concept of this title, the latest in the series to depict a new “Atelier” world, is “True-to-life youths that develop together, even if just a little bit”. It is the story of a girl and her friends who are about to become adults, discovering what is most important to them. To depict the story of the main characters discovering things they’ve never seen before, we’ve created fields with natural shadows that allow you to feel the breath of the world. Graphics have been further enhanced, allowing for a world of daily-life and adventure to be depicted in a new way.

I was provided a review copy of the game in order to make this review.

  1. First review I’ve heard someone pronounced atelier correctly, lol. Anyways it’s cool that the series is getting a bit more attention especially thanks amongst those soy induced sjw’s criticizing on the thighs and boobies giving the game attention

Anyways regardless of the writing and shorter then other atelier games. I’ll be definitely enjoying the game. I’ll get the switch h version. The soundtrack sounds great like most of gusts games

  2. Great review. I'm so happy we got three Atelier games this year. I've enjoyed the series since Ayesha.
I don't think the story has ever been the appeal for me outside of maybe Ayesha and Sue/Lydia. The character interactions, combat, and synthesizing are what draw me.

Atelier Ryza sounds like a good leap forward from Lulua. Though the only thing that worries me was that you mentioned the game length was shorter. I hope you just mean the main story. I've spent at least 90+ hours in ever Atelier title trying to platinum them. I'm hoping theres side content in Ryza outside of the story to give it close to the same amount of value for me.
