  1. "Ok, guys, this just in, if you cut out the meat and you eat potatoes covered in cashew cheeese, that's gonna really step up the game for the team! :D" I love Matt.

  2. Coming from someone who was vegan for 5 years, once your liver stores run out… you know. I would have to eat every 2 hours, my blood results would be all whacked, I became insulin resistant (TOO MANY CARBS) and made my PCOS worse. Also, I consistently felt terrible following meals, and developed so many allergies to food. Once I went keto and low carb, I lost 30lbs and only eat 1-2x a day. Veganism is not worth it in the long run, and it does NOT work for everyone.

  3. Blood separation? Blood from the athletes? That would not be fat, it would be plasma. We also know that high triglycerides are created as a result of carbs not fat. A big point is we need cholesterol, we have been barking up the wrong tree for a long long time thinking we should have low cholesterol. There is a reason nearly every cell in our body can make it.

For me, a plant-based diet isn't an option having an incisional hernia means if I did do plant-based it would be 100% pureed soups and smoothies to prevent a lot of pain.
