  1. big thing to note- the 4790k is only utilizing about 60% of the GPU in most cases, with the 9700k actually using 80-100% of it. Ive got a 4790k, and can confirm this is true! Slightly unstable or jittery framerates in games, even with a Gsync 144hz monitor and a 1080ti, properly rendering 100+ fps- its my 4790k.

    I have friends who in the same game on the same setup, can nearly outperform my 1080ti with a mere 1070, or in some cases, a 1060 in more cpu intensive games while running a newer chip.

  2. MY 4790K = 10+ YEAR CHIP! When I can buy an Intel 8 core / 16 thread chip @ 4.7Ghz+ on all cores on sale for $250 like my chip was I will upgrade but I want double the performance. LONG LIVE THE LEGEND 4790k!
