Outdoor areas to lust after

Spending time outside is a portion of the Australian lifestyle, so it’s no wonder most of us want to create dreamy alfresco zones in which we love spending time with relatives members and friends.

If you’ve been tuning into our renovating series, 2 at Twelve, you’ll have been after my weekly snapshots about the best way to get the expression of my forever home and investment property in your own digs.

Otherwise, watch the movie above to catch up, then read on to learn how I designed the outdoor areas in these two properties.

The concept for my forever home is modern Australian design and as a result the styling exterior is minimal. It’s all about clean lines and easy colours.

Use clean and easy outdoor furniture to keep things understated. We utilized the Antigua range of furniture from GlobeWest; I love the simple shape of each piece along with the beautiful timber feature on the arms is just what we had to provide the room a little bit of warmth.

When choosing your furniture for your outside space, make a decision as to what you will get most use out of. Do you love to dine smart or lounge around? There are no rules: simply choose what suits your family best.

The trick to any outdoor space is tons of greenery. I love using pots in Hieta garden for my styling company, The Stables, therefore my own home was no exception. I particularly love the Jitt baskets; they are flexible, available in large sizes (I love outdoor pots!)

I used a collection of three in contrasting colors to take not only distance from the corner of my deck but also make attention and tie in with the external color scheme of the house.

Oversized pots and mirrors create a daring statement.

Think outside the box when it comes to styling your outdoor spaces. We have super high walls that were feeling somewhat empty so we used the gorgeous New York thinner mirror out of Urban Couture to fill out the distance. The scale is ideal, and the best part is the mirror reflects each the amazing views, which I will see not just when I’m outdoors but also inside.

Maintain the styling minimum when trying to accomplish a contemporary Australian look. Less is always more!

I utilized the gorgeous Lennox lanterns from Country Road; their simple shape is perfect to keep things minimal and they are also practical for day entertaining. I opt for indoor cushions in my outdoor spaces for additional comfort/luxe factor; I used the beautiful range from Eadie Lifestyle for a subtle pop of color.

Get the look: My investment property

The concept in my investment property is coastal. I wanted the room to feel comfortable and comfortable, so I depended heavily on feel within this space.

Outdoor furniture
Natural woven furniture would be the greatest in coastal living. The Bellano set of Furniture from La Forma was the ideal addition in this area; it’s not an overly large setting and the beautiful rope detail on the arms supplies a beautiful hint of texture.

A dreamy outdoor furniture setting to aspire to if you adore coastal living.

Wall dangling
One of my favorite suppliers for unique homewares is Harper and Wilde; all the one-off pieces are handmade in Sydney. I used the Driftwood and Cowrie wall hanging; the way the white pops against the black wall panelling is simply magical. Using these types of wall hangings is an awesome way to dress the walls in an outdoor space.

The icing on the cake to your outdoor lounge space should be some gorgeous cushions to make the room feel whole. I used a choice of cushions from Sea Tribe; it is the ultimate brand for coastal-boho homewares.

A hot tip when picking your cushions is never to use the same cushion double; I ensure each cushion differs. It makes a space feel much more relaxed and natural, which is key to a fantastic outdoor living room.

Small Gardens – The City Garden

They’re perfect for holding lots of smaller gardening gifts. This means, you can follow the sun (literally) to be able to provide your plant the heat that they need. If he gave me a task, I also got detailed instructions on how to complete the task.

Looking to downsize? Tired of mowing the lawn? Are you wanting to shift gears? Condo living may be a good idea for you. Condominiums can either be apartments within a building or they can be like small houses pushed together. You will share walls with your neighbors but you all have a separate entrance into your homes. This type of living is ideal for many people and is not just for the newly retired.

The way the truck spreads out into its roots reminds me of the foot of a dinosaur I saw in the museum in Washington. The roots are arranged in twos giving the appearance of four toes. Some of us just have vivid imaginations.

However, you or the construction contractors will have to mix the cement in order to use it. This is where readymix concrete can come to your help. This type of cement is pre-mixed and you don’t have to get into the hassle of doing it on your own. That saves a lot of time and energy. For example, perhaps you are ready to set up a porch near your garden to have a place to relax in the future, using readymix one will help you get rid of doing the task manually and you don’t have to estimate the required amount of cement. So, if you lack the knowledge of professional builders, readymix concrete is the ideal option for you.

It’s normally better to re-use things than to recycle. Hietagarden first drew my attention a couple of months ago when I was searching for cement plant pots. I re-use all my jam and honey jars. They go in the dishwasher and then are ready for my next marathon jam or marmalade making session. You can turn newspaper into briquettes for the fire or compostable cement plant pots. Shred newspaper or confidential documents and mix it into your compost heap. I use mine for chicken bedding, then compost that.

Holder and Linden search the streets and alleys looking for the girl from the car accident. They stop at an alley where a group of kids are gathered looking at something. The kids run when they pull up. They walk over and see that the kids were looking at a finger lying on the ground. Right across the street is the Beacon House where the homeless kids stay. Linden and Holder go talk to the guy who runs the house and he says he hasn’t seen the girl they described, but he tells them that there are only three 24-hour clinics in the city so she might have went to one of them. When they leave Bullet (Bex Taylor-Klaus) is outside waiting for them. She ends up in their car with them and tells them Kallie wouldn’t go to a clinic, but she will show them where she would go.

An essential area of green living that can change the world is by using alternative health remedies. If more people made use of natural herbal curatives and consumed more organic foods, they are going to discover that they will be fitter and they will be helping to reduce poisonous waste produced by making all these drugs. There is no need to be a crazy tree hugger, but little steps can make a huge difference.

Along the trail are many oak trees and well as a plethora of other deciduous trees that fill the forest floor with leaves. The trail rises as though it was moving above the stream bed and then you are back near the stream. For the remainder of this trail it follows a stream that is coming from Shelley Lake and joining Crabtree Creek near the Allegheny Trail.

The original 16 tents are fairly close together. They are set far back from the river and have remarkable views. From some you hear the relaxing sound of flowing water. Children love this kind of an ambiance in their room. Normally, the house should be colored in such a way that the touch is soft. The furniture also needs to be of good quality and limited so that the house does not get filled with only furniture and there is no space left else where. When it comes to selecting the floor, it should be such that it does not get dirty frequently or it is very easy to clean the floor as and when needed.
